Our Story

Gislaine Gallette, an Electrical Engineer with an MBA in Marketing, worked in the financial market for 15 years. Her passion for chocolate led her to read and study everything she could find on the subject. She took courses in Brazil and decided to specialize in Belgium, where she came directly to open her own chocolate shop. This was the birth of Gallette Chocolates, a combination of her passion for cocoa and the belief that a business should be built responsibly.

Gallette Chocolates is one of the chocolate shops that has joined the Bean to Bar movement, where we produce chocolates with Brazilian cacao. We rely on artisanal production, which makes a significant difference in the final result. That’s why the packaging of our distinctive chocolates indicates the origin of the beans and the farm. It’s a more natural, sustainable production that delivers a much more exclusive flavor.

For us, it is impossible to thrive as a business if we imagine that our products cause harm to anyone in the supply chain. We do not accept any profit that sacrifices children or causes harm to the planet. We always source cocoa from producers who do not employ child or slave labor.

We work this way simply because we believe it is the right thing to do, because it makes sense. This worldview drives us to take action and do our part, but we want to go further, influencing our competitors and promoting a new way of thinking among consumers and society in general.

And at this moment, we want to share another important achievement: we are ready to introduce our brand and products, which are now available in the American market.
